Founded in 1932 Fontana Arte is one of the Italian design companies that made "History of Light" in Italy and in the World. Created from an idea of the architect Gio Ponti, it has always maintained a strong affinity with environmental planning, gradually involving the most important Italian and international architects and lighting designers. A developmental project that, utilizing predominantly fine materials (primarily glass), has attained an interaction between technology and beauty, and has generated a series of timeless objects, dramatic forms, some of which have become classics in design.
